Montreal Worship facilitated its first official worship night in 2018 at Evangel Pentecostal Church in Montreal. This first worship night brought together a team from eight (8) different churches and marked the beginning of a collaboration within the local church community from the Greater Montreal Area. By February of 2020, Montreal Worship had facilitated six (6) of these worship nights, and encompassed a team from fifteen (15) churches within the Greater Montreal Area. 

Following the isolation caused by the pandemic and church lockdowns, the needs of the local church in the Greater Montreal Area shifted. It was clear to Montreal Worship’s leadership team that a heightened spiritual hunger and a deeper longing to reconnect with God and with one another had become the new focal point of Montreal's spiritual needs. In response to this, Montreal Worship took on a new form of monthly worship nights beginning in May of 2022. 

The purpose of these monthly gatherings was to provide a space where members from different local churches could worship together; experience the love of Christ in fellowship with one another; and be better equipped to serve their local church.

In September of 2023, Montreal Worship held its most attended worship night to date. This unprecedented level of participation was the result of a formal collaboration among twenty (20) churches from the Greater Montreal Area. 

From May of 2022 to June of 2024, Montreal Worship has had the privilege of organizing twenty (20) worship nights. To date, members of the Montreal Worship Team represent more than thirty five (35) churches from the Greater Montreal Area. The team is excited for what God has in store as they continue to partake in the expansion of God's kingdom.

Throughout the years, Montreal Worship’s mission has remained and will remain the same: to strengthen, love and encourage the local church of the Greater Montreal Area through worship, thanksgiving and praise out of reverence for God! May God assist Montreal Worship’s team in furthering their mission for God’s glory and the advancement of the Gospel.
